BRIGHTSKY Music is a South African based music production company focused on the composition and production of music for both the local and international markets. Working with its affiliated studios in Cape Town, Brightsky can create and deliver across a wide range of musical genres – from classical to contemporary and ethnic to European.

Brightsky’s very talented team, headed by Shy (Executive Music Producer) includes some of the most respected technical professionals and session musicians in South Africa.

With a degree in musicology and performance and a Masters Degree in Ethnomusicology, Shy is a composer, instrumentalist, song-writer, orchestrator and arranger and is signed to EMI Music Publishing. She is also the founder of The Africa Voices Trust, an educational development programme which focuses on the training of talented young singers and musicians for studio.

Brightsky Music offers full production to bands, artists and film-makers. We are committed to the challenge of creating quality productions for a wide range of recording projects both locally and abroad.
